Ultrasound diagnosis of caesarean scar defects

Caesarean section (CS) scar defects are seen in up to 19% of women post lower segment caesarean section. Ultrasound and in particular transvaginal ultrasound, with or without saline, is the imaging modality of choice to delineate such defects.
